MARAČIĆ, Antun, multimedia artist, procurator, gallery manager, publicist (Nova Gradiša, 12/12/1959). He graduated from the Teacher’s Academy in 1971 and from the Painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in AZgreb in 1976, in the class of Prof Šime Perić. From 1976 to 1979, he was an associate of the master class workshop led by Ljubo Ivančić and Nikola Reiser. He was a member of the artists’ working community Podroom. He published many texts on art: reviews, critiques, afterwords, polemics and essays. He explores the media of photography. He is the author of a number of exhibition concepts. He was at the head of several cultural institutions in Dubrovnik and Zagreb. As a multimedia artist, his works have been displayed in both solo- and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. His works are held in modern and contemporary art museums and private collections.
