TRBULJAK, Goran, multimedia artist and cinematographer (Varaždin, 4/21/1948). He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1972 and the Academy for Theater, Film and Television in 1980. He attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1973-1974). He has worked in Zagreb as a post-conceptual artist, producing a number of public urban space interventions. He aims to examine the relationship between the artist and the society. Together with Braco Dimitrijević, he cofounded the “Penzioner Tihomir Stančić” art group in 1969, leading to a series of artists’ actions in the streets. He has contributed to the development of the New Art Practice movement and introduced innovations in the Croatian art scene. He has exhibited in Croatia and abroad and his works are held in contemporary art museums. He has won several awards.
